Locke, New York is a quaint rural community in the southern region of Upstate New York's Cayuga County. Named after famed English philosopher, John Locke, the small town was founded in 1802. The area had been previously settled by indigenous peoples, and is still the proud home of historic Indigenous burial grounds.
