In Honor of Rick "Pops" Richardson

The purpose of Little Libraries Moravia is to encourage reading and bolster a welcoming feeling in the Village of Moravia for visitors and Moravians (and local communities).  The project was started in honor of Rick Richardson, a resident of Moravia 2011 - 2023. Rick “Pops” Richardson, loved to read and connect to others.  Rick passed away on December 30, 2023.  As his body was failing, family and friends talked about all of the things he loved – his love of reading and people surfaced and resurfaced. And so, the idea of having a little free library chain in Moravia came to be.
